EQAPPRAISAL
EQUINE APPRAISER
EQAppraisal is an ASEA Certified Equine Appraiser serving the greater Mid-Atlantic region. Equine appraisal in general is used for a variety of situations where a client will need a Fair Market Value of the subject equine. Using comparison equines, as well as several factors of the subject equine, a Fair Market Value can be established.
Factors that affect the value of your horse include but are not limited to: pedigree, performance, conformation, health, soundness, overall impression, temperament, level of training and what they are used for. All appraisals conducted by EQAppraisal follow the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) guidelines and can be used in court cases.

EQAppraisal will customize an appraisal of your horse as determined by the intended use of the appraisal. We will work with each client individually to establish a Fair Market Value for their horse; each appraisal is strictly confidential.
The scope of your appraisal will be determined by the intended use and the amount of time needed to complete the appraisal. On average the research required to complete an appraisal will take 2-3 weeks. Once the appraisal is completed you will receive the appraisal report which will be delivered in one of three formats: a Self-Contained Appraisal - most detailed and most used for appraisals that will go to court, a Summary Appraisal - a detailed report that can be used for IRS purposes, and a Restricted Use Appraisal - the simplest report for use only by the client.
